Your efforts will support adequate and accurate materials and equipment at the jobsite.   <br><br><b>Major Responsibilities:</b> <br><br>Material Coordination <br><ul><li>Performs material coordination activities at a jobsite within material discipline of responsibility to ensure the accurate reporting of material and equipment work package statuses for installation</li><li>Monitors planned inventory control mechanisms, such as min-max and bag-and-tag and uses Digital Supply Chain tools</li><li>Continuously performs priority allocations to ensure material availability well in advance of installation requirements</li><li>Coordinates material availability in support of design revisions, rework, contingency or work-around plans</li><li>Participates in Construction and/or Subcontractor planning meetings to be fully aware of changes in installation plans and priorities</li><li>Coordinates with warehouse personnel for materials to be issued direct to the installation area, as opposed to being controlled in storage</li><li>Coordinates the constructability look ahead meetings</li><li>Prepares the site constructability reports as inclusive of 30, 60, and 90-day lookaheads </li></ul><br>Material Planning <br><ul><li>Verifies that material requisitions clearly identify required pay items and reflect a level of detail in which materials will be shipped and identified for storage and control prior to distribution to Construction for installation</li><li>Coordinates material planning activities for a material discipline area of responsibility</li><li>Maintains direct working relationship with Project Controls, Discipline Engineers, Supply Chain, Automation Support and/or Construction Coordinator to ensure that construction personnel are provided with materials to support the completion of the construction work</li><li>Monitors Engineering and Supply Chain deliverable schedules to meet the construction schedule</li><li>Monitors materials components aspects of the project Automation Plan related data transfers between the functional groups with respect to assigned discipline area of responsibility </li></ul><br><br><b>Education and Experience Requirements:</b> <br><br>Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience <br><br><b>Required Knowledge and Skills:</b> <br><br><ul><li>  Advanced knowledge of all procurement operations related to the management of materials at area, regional, temporary and jobsite office locations. </li><li> Knowledge of how to manage material fabricators. </li><li> Knowledge in Field Engineering and Construction activities, and knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures related to materials management functions. </li><li> Knowledge of all Engineering disciplines, the work process and the deliverables produced. </li><li> Knowledge of applicable Bechtel policies, instructions, and Procurement procedures and guidelines. </li><li> Knowledge and experience in the use of the Digital Supply Chain System, Engineering tools and other project data systems preferred. </li><li> Prior experience in major global, direct hire and contract management projects, which include Engineering, Procurement, and materials control activities. </li><li> Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills preferred. </li></ul><br><br><b>Total Rewards/Benefits:</b> <br><br>For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond!
