You’ve probably heard of Fiverr: It came onto the scene in 2009 and completely disrupted the service industry, making it easy for customers to connect with sellers, freelancers, and more.
And now you have the chance to work for Fiverr. The company is seeing a ton of success, which means it needs bright, passionate, fearless people to support its growth.
“We have so many feature updates coming out that are really going to take this platform—that’s already amazing—to the next level,” explains Clarke Levidiotis, digital content marketer. “Being here, watching the process unfold, and communicating updates to our audience is exciting.”
Fiverr’s culture encourages communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Levidiotis says that if one person goes to a conference or professional development event, the entire team gets to hear what he or she learned about.
And there’s lots of on-the-job learning as well.
“I learn all the time from different developers—whether junior or senior,” says web developer Yoni Amir. “Everyone has expertise in a certain area or feature, so every day is very constructive.”
The team also loves to have fun. The foosball competitions are legendary—employees are discussing taking their talents pro. Team members also rave about the elaborate birthday festivities, fun activities like karaoke and paintball, and after-work drinks.
“Everyone here is part of a bigger family, so, on top on any experience and tech qualifications, it’s really about fitting culture—whether people are easy to talk to and whether we can have fun with them on a day-to-day basis,” comments Tek Kim, business development manager.
