Your Chance to Work for a Toy Company! (No, Really)
There’s a good chance you’d be lying if you told us you never thought it would be fun to work for a toy company. Well, your inner child can celebrate: Charlotte-based Schleich is looking for new employees to join its fun-loving team. Founded in 1935 in toymaker Friedrich Schleich’s garage, Schleich sells a broad range of products, including everything from dinosaurs to Smurfs to Peanuts to DC Comics.
Not only will you be helping kids learn and have fun, you’ll be enjoying life a little more, too. The Schleich team has plenty of benefits to make daily office life better. Casual attire, employee lunches, holiday parties, and employee of the month awards are just a few. Budget half days are also a popular reward—when they meet the monthly budget, employees receive a half day off on a Friday of the following month. Amanda Deas, the HR and payroll administrator, shares, “The people here are amazing. There’s never a dull moment, and I can honestly say that we genuinely care about the well-being and the development of our employees.”
