Work for the Company That's Making Caring for Others So Much Easier
There are companies that care, and then there’s Hometeam—a company that’s made it its job to care for others. Powered by technology and strengthened by compassion, Hometeam is modernizing the in-home care industry by developing a software that matches families with experienced caregivers, connects families to their loved ones using mobile technology, and helps caregivers plan beautiful days for older adults.
“I’m just excited about the possibilities and the opportunities—there really isn’t anyone out there paying a lot of attention to older adults or caregivers,” explains AnneMarie Lock, Lead Product Designer.
And luckily for any potential future employees, the folks at Hometeam seriously care for their co-workers, too.
“The thing that I absolutely love about my co-workers is that we’re incredibly curious, we set a remarkably high bar for ourselves, and we’re all in this work for a reason that’s incredibly purposeful and intentional,” says Laura Malecky, Regional Care Coordinator.
Everyone who comes aboard does so for reasons that go far beyond cashing a paycheck, which makes exceeding expectations together so much easier. Still, the team here understands that everyone has their limits, so setting reasonable priorities and avoiding burnout are a big part of the culture as well. When successes are achieved, the Hometeam crew celebrates with happy hours, parties, and sometimes even weekend getaways.
“Everyone goes above and beyond every day. People aren’t just doing their job description—they’re dedicated to making the company a success,” explains Harry Heymann, VP of Engineering.
