If you’re trying to catch up on all the movies that came out in 2011, watching the Oscar nominees is usually a good place to start (and you still have time before Sunday!). But if you don’t have hours to kill at the theater this week? Just take a quick six minutes out of your day and watch this clip.
In true mash-up fashion, video editor Matt Shapiro stitches together clips from 254 films released in 2011. The result is not only amazing, but also a story completely on it’s own. While you may not be able to identify all the movies (and if you can, I’m impressed), or even tell what they’re actually about, in the end, it’s just a good reminder of the magic of the movies.
