A hundred days. That’s how long the average driver will waste in his or her life, aimlessly circling parking lots and wandering city streets in an attempt to find a parking spot.
Flash back to 2006, when Jon Thornton and Aashish Dalal were going to a ball game and could not find a place to park. They were frustrated, as we all would be in this situation. But they decided to do something about it—so they founded ParkWhiz, which offers drivers an easy way to find parking before they arrive using their phones or computers.
Genius, right? We’re not the only ones who think so. To date, ParkWhiz has signed more than 3,000 partners—and is now looking for more people to join its growing team.
“I really love the motivation you get from being in the office,” says marketing coordinator Mason Pain. “It’s such a fast-paced environment, and we’re constantly innovating, so it keeps you on your toes.”
Farrah Davis, director of sales operations, is a fan of the supportive atmosphere. “ParkWhiz is really good at appreciating the work that everyone does, and I think it helps you want to do more,” she explains.
It’s hard not to get swept up in the enthusiasm and passion of the ParkWhiz team. Take what Dalal had to say about the company’s mission: “We want to bring smiles to drivers across the world by making parking simple, efficient, convenient, and delightful.”
If that puts a smile on your face, check out ParkWhiz’s offices, then apply for your next job.
