We're always on the lookout for resumes that inspire us. So, when we saw this visual gem from developer Albino Tonnina , we knew we had to share.
As you scroll through Tonnina's resume, he walks you through the resume basics: his skills, previous work experience, and what he's looking for— even including a video of some of his work .
So, what makes this relatively simple visual resume work so well? Not only does it look clean and nice, it clearly conveys the story of why Tonnina would be a great hire without packing too much information in. (It also then links to a full resume and well-filled-out LinkedIn profile at the end.)
The lesson here: Visual resumes can be excellent ways to stand out, but not if they're cluttered and ridden with information. If you're going the creative resume route , focus on keeping it simple and conveying a clear message. You don't need to put every bit of information about your work history in there—if done right, people will be interested enough to learn even more about you at the end.
