Fun Fact: Taking Naps at Work Will Make You More Productive

I’ve never been a big fan of naps. I like to power through my day, tired or not, and get everything done that I need to do.

For whatever reason, getting some afternoon shut-eye always signified laziness to me. Or, maybe, the bigger reason is that I suffer from FOMO. Because a lot is going to happen in a 30-minute span, right?

Turns out, my tendency to avoid taking a break when I need to, in a valiant effort to get more done, is actually making me less efficient.

Watch the New York Magazine video below to hear more about the data that proves napping may be key to your productivity.
