Empower and Support Women with a Career at Spanx
Spanx, an intimate apparel company with leggings and pants, was founded in 2000. As a global brand, the company helps women around the world feel great about themselves and their potential. Products range from everyday smoothing undergarments to pants and legwear and are adored by celebrities and consumers everywhere.
The mission of Spanx is not simply about selling merchandise. “It’s based on empowering women, making them not only feel good about themselves but also giving back to the community and paying it forward,” explains Alyson Mills, Director of Sales. One way the company gives back is by participating in Habitat for Humanity, allowing employees to build houses for families in need.
When they aren’t constructing homes, Spanx team members are working hard in their brand new offices in the heart of Atlanta with close access to premier restaurants and shopping. The offices are open and spacious, include incredible amenities (such as a state of the art cafeteria and outdoor work spaces), and are well-equipped to foster innovation and creativity.
“Something that they built in the new office were work rooms for us with gridded walls. We have three different rooms where we can play with our product assortments. It’s a space that allows our team to be creative, to have meetings with the product right there,” says Taylor Sock, Merchandising Manager. Not to mention, there is a full retail space in the office so employees can sense what the consumer experience will be before the product even launches.
Spanx provides a positive and upbeat work environment and is steadily expanding. “This is a great company to grow in because the company itself is growing,” shares Chandler Severance, Supply Planning Associate. “But it’s also at a size where you can see the different levels and you can map out your own career path.”
