Plum Organics is feeding the future by creating delicious organic food and snacks for babies, toddlers, and kids. Since 2007, the team has been creating culinary-inspired fruit and vegetable blends—from on-the-go pouch purees to favorite finger foods. The mission, which is always at the top of everyone’s mind, is to nourish little ones with the very best food from the very first bite.
Innovation is part of the DNA at Plum Organics, and employees are constantly encouraged to challenge the status quo, making the future very exciting. “We have a large demographic segment that we’ve not even hit yet," explains Steve Huffman, Senior Manager of Sourcing. “I feel that there’s a lot of growth potential for Plum Organics. There’s a lot of food that we can bring to all ages and new technologies that we can turn around and take advantage of.”
Team members are able to push the envelope due to managers who provide support and guidance but also give employees plenty of autonomy. “The management style here is very relaxed,” shares Nika Memar, Customer Business Manager. “It’s the perfect balance between hands on and hands off. You have the ability to be creative and initiate projects and see them through from beginning to end. But if you get lost along the way, it’s completely fine to ask for help.”
When team members aren’t innovating in their new office (complete with healthy snacks and a beautiful cooking space!), they all have the opportunity to participate in taste tests and provide feedback on different foods. This allows Plum Organics to ensure it is putting out the very best products possible.
If you want to help fuel our youngest generation with tasty and nutritious foods, Plum Organics may be the right fit for you. Just make sure you bring your best self—and your appetite!
