A Brief Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents and Dynamics) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, creating automated workflows using Power tools, and providing insights to support business decisions. The Data Analyst is responsible for becoming proficient in WWT financial data and processes, in order to best serve their stakeholders with valuable and relevant analytical solutions that aid in simplifying the complex and driving data driven decision making.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gathers and documents business requirements and collaborates with IT and process teams on proper solution development.
  • Develops analytics solutions utilizing an industry-leading analytics platform that align to desired business outcomes.
  • Designs applicable training material and trains end users with an emphasis on how to use the platform, data flow/model mapping, and overall data literacy
  • Presents data to business leaders and users to help them make informed decisions
  • Learns and Innovates within the analytics platform, providing guidance to stakeholders on new opportunities
  • Supports production issues related to data
  • Collaborates with process owners when process enhancements or data quality initiatives are necessary to support analytics needs.
  • Responsible for testing of new data sources and enhancements
  • Collaborates with IT to ensure good data quality and solution performance
  • Responsible for working with users throughout the company who have questions about financial data
  • Responsible for utilizing Power Platform tools effectively as a Data Analyst.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years progressive experience in a related field
  • Development experience within the Microsoft Power Platform required - PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps
  • Experience working with corporate financial data preferred
  • Tableau experience a plus
  • SQL or equivalent knowledge a plus
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, effective communication, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Understands data architecture/modeling and integration concepts and can communicate business requirements efficiently and effectively to highly technical team members.
  • Demonstrated track record of building effective reporting solutions and a thorough understanding of visual best practices suited for a modern analytics platform
  • Demonstrates problem solving, analytical, and innovative thinking skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and complex business environment
  • Adaptable to changing business requirements and priorities
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to professionally communicate (verbal and written) at all levels of the business with professional confidence and maturity required
  • A high level of integrity, strong work ethic, positive energy, and a commitment to preserving the company core values and culture
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
