About the Role

The Assistant Vice President – AML Services reports to the Vice President – Senior Account Manager of AML Services. Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • collecting and reviewing due diligence information and documentation in order to ensure compliance with Cayman Islands anti-money laundering legislation, regulations and associated regulatory guidance;
  • assisting with desktop and on-site controls testing of a fund administrator’s AML policies and procedures;
  • assisting AML Compliance Officers with the completion of AML reports, liaising with investment managers, fund administrators and the governing bodies of Cayman Islands investment funds, updating internal systems with relevant data and assisting with client-related administrative functions and ad hoc projects;
  • Overtime and an ability to meet deadlines will be required.

 

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of Cayman Islands AML legislation, in-depth analytical skills, excellent report writing skillsets and proven EXCEL Knowledge will be required in order to successfully undertake the role and fulfil the requirements of the data evaluation, reporting writing and data management process;
  • The successful candidate will be a university graduate with an excellent academic background or have at least three years’ relevant experience in the Cayman Islands investment Fund industry;
  • The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel skills;
  • This post requires significant attention to detail, professionalism, ability to multi-task and having excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.  In addition, the successful candidate will be required to adhere to internal policies and procedures.
