IT Business Analyst

Executive Bureau

Information Technology Division

The IT Business Analyst is a member of the Business Applications Team, responsible for requirements gathering, facilitating, solution designing, documentation, and training for the Attorney General's Office (AGO) Enterprise Business Applications. This is an entry-level role that receives training and development from more experienced AGO business analysts.

Primary Duties:

• Provide end-user training;

• Gather and document business requirements via group sessions;

• Maintain relevant and current knowledge within assigned technical fields;

• Keep Product Owner and Team updated on progress;

• Work closely with the Product Owner to support their vision, goals, and priorities;

• Other duties, as needed.

Position Type: Full-Time/Exempt

Salary: $57,750

Qualifications

Position Requirements :

• Enjoys leading group discussions;

• Bachelor's degree or related experience;

• 0 - 3 years of Business Analysis experience;

• Team player with an empathetic and growth mindset;

• Ability to communicate with the AGO business, other business analysts, as well as solution designers and developers;

• Proficient analytical and troubleshooting skills;

• Ability to manage multiple projects;

• Ability to work in an Agile environment, specifically using the Scrum framework;

• Ability to self-manage while working transparently;

• Effective communication skills.

Desired Technical Skills and Experience :

• Reporting and Analytics;

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum project management;

• Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, OnBase, Salesforce, Visio.
