Project Mechanical Engineer - Patient Interface (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Project Engineer will have responsibility for the design and development of patient interface devices used for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea . Responsible for the design and development of medical devices. Coordinate and drive activities that are focused on the development of product concepts through Manufacturing and Production
Your role:
- Lead planning, design, estimating resources, timeline, and cost estimates for projects
- Provide project status updates, feedback, and recommendations to leadership
- Lead in creating functional requirements, risk assessment, design reviews, verification & validation.
- Use of critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Display a mastery and history for complex problem solving by evaluating options and implementing solutions.
- Ability to balance technical solutions with business needs

- BS or MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or Plastic)
- 5+ years medical device experience
- Prior Project Lead responsibility in new product development
