Director Communications, Enterprise Informatics

Drive world-class integrated communications program for Philips' Enterprise Informatics business. You have the overarching responsibility to deliver high quality internal/ external communication services to the leadership and the global employee base, including employee engagement, customer experience, thought leadership and transformation programs.

You'll be a part of The Business Communications team, which is part of Philips' Communications & Brand organization that drives the company's brand and reputation management and delivery of high-quality communication services to the leadership of Philips. You will report to the Head of Communications, Enterprise Informatics and Innovation & Strategy and serve as a Leadership Team member in Enterprise Informatics Business Unit(s). Enterprise Informatics is part of the Connected Care business segment and comprises of five newly created Business Units: Radiology Informatics, Clinical Integration & Insights, Cardiovascular Informatics, Clinical Informatics and EMR/ Care Management.

Your role:
  • Developing fully integrated communications plans that contribute to the success of Enterprise Informatics business and its employee engagement.
  • Working with a team of other senior communications professionals, synthesizing commercial objectives with reputation and brand objectives and co-building global comms plans and campaigns from a business and markets perspective.
  • Providing overarching communications counsel and capability building to Enterprise Informatics business leader and management team - taking an active role as a Communications representative in one (or more) Business Unit's Leadership Teams, serving as a trusted advisor to their leader(s).
  • Leading, developing and deploying the internal/ external communications plan, including support for the company's reputation, brand, culture and transformation programs.
  • Issues management and crisis communications in coordination with Philips' central External Relations team and contribution to integration programs of mergers, acquisitions and divestments.
  • Leading key Enterprise Informatics events, including participation in key trade/ business events and global webcasts.
  • Supporting leaders to reach employee engagement scores through the delivery of communications guidance and community building through social channels.
  • Managing annual program budget, agency and measurement of all programs.
You're the right fit if:
  • A results-oriented senior communications leader with a Master's degree, and 8+ years' experience, in strategic B2B communications/marketing in an international/matrixed environment
  • Strong understanding of/ affinity with technology, data, and healthcare innovation topics
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills: you are a confident and fact-based advisor to senior management and a trusted strategic partner.
  • Proven track record of leading, building and coaching highly engaged and high performing global teams.
  • High energy, creativity and demonstrated ability to build key relationships and lead to positively influence stakeholders and drive effective collaboration.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic, complex programs and planning processes, with many moving parts, across a wide variety of organizational pockets.
  • Ability to navigate a high paced business environment typical for a data and software driven business area which is preparing to globally scale its reach and activities.
  • Strong project management skills and agency management experience.
  • Native-level English (written and spoken); proven ability to write and steer work for impactful speeches, presentations, blogs, opinion pieces; etc.
