PepsiCo is looking for a strategic, creative, and results-oriented Marketing Manager to help drive and execute the marketing agenda for Taco Bell & Habit Burger Grill. This role provides the best combination of Commercialization, Innovation, and Activation/Comms experiences as well as an exciting opportunity to help integrate PepsiCo's marketing priorities at one of our most important partners.

Along with the Sr. Marketing Manager on the team, you will work with the customer and key internal PepsiCo stakeholders to strategically evaluate business opportunities, and to develop and execute consumer-relevant marketing programs across both food & beverage.

Key to success will be aligning and executing marketing programs in a way that positively impacts PepsiCo and Taco Bell/Habit Burger brand equities while also driving sales. In addition to the experience of working with some of the most dynamic and innovative brands in the PepsiCo and YUM! portfolios, this role will develop leadership skills in key areas such as collaboration and influencing through interaction with internal and external leadership, cross-functional connections across the PepsiCo organization, and creative problem-solving within customer team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, and driving for results.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Taco Bell & Habit Burger Grill marketing & sales leaders to help define account-specific marketing strategies and programs that support achieving volume, sales, and brand growth targets over a multi-year horizon
  • Lead execution of PepsiCo's Taco Bell & HBG annual operating plans, management of the agency briefing and creative development process, and close collaboration with internal cross functional experts (Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, R&D)
  • Become a PepsiCo brand portfolio expert, leveraging in-depth knowledge of company brand priorities, products and assets, relevant market research, and analysis of competitive activity to deliver best-in-class solutions to marketing needs
  • Apply in-depth understanding of consumer insights and business analytics, including sales trends, demographic/psychographic trends, consumer perceptions/attitudes, need states, motivations, and purchase/consumption behavior to advance the business
  • Oversee with Sales the testing and launch of select new PepsiCo beverage & culinary innovation propositions and platforms
  • Event organization & coordination of various onsite & offsite customer and franchisee meetings/conventions

Compensation and Benefits :

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.) with minimum 5-7 years of experience with consumer-packaged goods or foodservice industries; MBA with a concentration in Marketing is a plus
  • Prior customer marketing management/account management experience
  • Proven expertise in creative agency management, and ability to influence and mobilize cross-functional team members within a matrixed environment
  • Prior experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation & storytelling skills, and the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with key stakeholders
  • An analytic, strategic thinker who is self-confident, straightforward, flexible, and demonstrates a sense of urgency
