Infosys is seeking Oracle Cloud Principal Consultant

Infosys Consulting is seeking Oracle Supply Chain professionals with extensive experience in Warehouse and Logistics processes and looking for long-term growth and career-enhancing opportunities leveraging Oracle to solve our customer's most challenging issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of Oracle project experience from the project preparation phase through the deploy and run phases. The candidate should have a strong business and Oracle background and be experienced in interfacing with client executives, business, and IT in consultative project engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Oracle Cloud WMS implementation lead responsible for establishing the end-to-end business processes and configuration of Oracle WMS capabilities in Oracle cloud for a global client operating in various manufacturing plants around the globe.
  • This consultant will lead business process design, system setup and demos as well as creation of functional specifications building technical RICE (Reports, Extensions, Integrations and Data Conversion) objects and their validation.
  • Identify business requirements, translating business requirements into functional and technical design, building prototypes, creating process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), leading testing and training activities, defining support procedures and SLAs and supporting implementations post go live.
  • 4+ large and complex end to end Oracle Cloud WMS implementation.
  • Sound knowledge on supply chain management, inventory, Procurement and Oracle Order Management.
  • Lead the warehousing functional group for a site, and understands the integration points with other functional groups.
  • Participate in knowledge transition from the plant Implementation team to understand plant-specific requirements and solutions, and plant personnel roles and training needs.
  • Lead the overall skills assessment related to warehousing, training document review, and supplementary job aid creation that may be needed for a site.
  • Assist in the facilitation of UAT testing at the site.
  • Assist on-site during physical inventory & cutover activities to ensure data is accurate.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation & re-counts.
  • Onsite for the centrally located team responsible for user support post-go-live, as well as defect reporting and working with the build team on defect resolution.
  • Able to effectively communicate with Clients and Business related to Requirements and RICEs.

Project Execution
  • Conduct engagement launch activities when leading the team.
  • Understand client context, assess team structure, and roles and responsibilities of team members to prepare for project execution.
  • Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps .
  • Conduct requirements workshops with a team of global IT professional & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives w/associated metrics .
  • Configure/design Oracle Cloud WMS functionality and processes .
  • Demo Cloud WMS processes as required.
  • Solution and document functional specifications .
  • Own and Write RICEFS and Functional Specifications.
  • Support management of project execution from start-to-finish to deliver according to plan (scope, quality, and time).
  • Coach and develop team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development .
Thought Leadership & Practice Development
  • Lead/ participate in development and delivery of WMS service offerings.
  • Provide insight to new and emerging perspectives and point of views on package enabled transformations as well as emerging products and practices.
  • Provide patterns, best practices, and white paper on WMS transformation strategy and service offering related areas.
  • Stays informed on trends in business practices and emerging products/ technologies.
  • Demonstrates the ability to share his/her expertise with others on the team and with the client.
Sales and Marketing
  • Client proposal development and sales support.
  • Client presentations.
  • Contribute points of view through blogging, white papers and other thought leadership.
  • Lead work streams to aid development of new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market/client research and industry analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years of Oracle Supply Chain experience and around 6-8 years of Oracle WMS Experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service with ability to manage customer expectation.
  • Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Work effectively with internal and external clients, third party vendors, and senior management in accomplishing project objectives.
  • Proven ability to set priorities across multiple projects and drive for results. At least 2 full lifecycle implementations (all phases) of an Oracle Cloud WMS implementation lifecycle for a large Client.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
