We are looking for a Backend hands-on Team Leader to join the SaaS team in our India site.

This role is hands-on! You'll design, write code, move things around, optimize processes, ensure quality, etc. - and along the way, make everything and everyone around you, better.
But it's not only hands-on. We're not only looking for managers, we are also looking for natural leaders. In this role, you'll be responsible to cultivate innovation, progress, agility and fun within your team members and others you work with. A can-do attitude is a must! We're looking for someone with a big heart, not just a big brain!
What you will do
- Lead and build a team from scratch of data pipeline engineers in an agile environment.
- Build the world's most advanced analytics platform tuned to data protection.
- Design and implement services on top of AWS stack.
- Collaborate with other teams and product groups to provide a single interface / data schema and prepare it for data ingestion
- Be part of the R&D management team while still being hands-on
- Shape Agile culture, processes, and development methodology.
What experience or knowledge should you bring?
- BSc in Computer Science/ related field
- Hands-on experience and deep knowledge in AWS
- At least 4 years' experience as a BE Team Leader
- 7+ years of experience with Java server-side technologies
- Experience with streaming data pipeline (Kafka/Kinesis).
- Architectural vision
- Proven experience in designing and managing (owning!) SaaS products
- Demonstrated knowledge of design and implementation of large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with big data databases e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB or Elasticsearch.
- Experience with relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Great interpersonal skills.
Advantage
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, git
- Experience in Security.
- Experience with integrating with external products using API design and documentation (Swagger or similar)
