THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking for a Data Analyst to help drive our Sportsbook customer generosity distribution and bonus spend optimization. In this role you will be responsible for customer segmentation, reporting and data analysis across all areas of Sportsbook generosity distribution. Using your numerical skills and technology capabilities, you will play a key role in bonus spend research, optimization, and communication of results to CRM and Commercial senior management.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, and customer segmentation to help drive incremental revenue through optimal automated bonus spend distribution to aid more effective distribution of generosity offers.
  • Improve our understanding of customer behaviors & preferences, efficiency of promotional offers, and effectiveness of bonus spend.
  • Through idea generation and exploratory analysis, develop new and innovative ways to turn customer behaviors into features for use in generosity analysis, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
  • Demonstrate accurate insights using easy to interpret visualizations and clear explanations of results, recommendations, methods, biases and limitations.
  • Take responsibility to learn the necessary skills and techniques, in order to work with independence, integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively identify areas for improvement and support their strategic objectives.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in SQL & Microsoft Excel with experience of manipulating large datasets.
  • Knowledge of at least one statistical or programming language (e.g. in Python, R, C#, VBA , etc.).
  • Undergraduate degree in a numerate or technical discipline.
  • Strong results in subjects with a mathematical or statistical focus.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau an advantage.
  • Interest in sports an advantage.
  • Interest or experience in the sports betting industry is an advantage.
