Job Description:

Responsible for leading the product design of design systems that exhibit industry-leading visual design and interaction. As a design lead of a digital design system team, this person will design and compose guidance for components, patterns, and all design system elements to facilitate the creation of accessible, refreshing, and easy-to-use experiences. They will use qualitative and quantitative data to understand problems and find solutions that continually move the design system forward.

Responsible for the development of products that create an innovative, best in class experience for our customers. Responsible for capturing stakeholder feature requests, analyze processes, and design workflows at a high level. Defines and creates interaction flows, wireframes, review feedback on released features and drive new features in web or mobile apps. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities

  • Develops design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, usage scenarios, task analysis, specifications and other UX/UI design deliverables in Figma and other tools.
  • Defines and implements systematic approach to create clean and functional UI.
  • Participates in the product definition process with the team and drive the clarification of the user tasks and objectives.
  • Understandable target users' needs, motivations, and behaviors as it relates to an overall, repeatable user experience workflow, journey, or template, design system, and brand. Seeks to improve skills with a continuous learning and improvement mindset.
  • Balances technical and delivery constraints when creating accessible and engaging user interfaces based on complex requirements and tight deadlines.
  • Partners with key stakeholders including business owners, product owners, technology, legal, and research to design best-in-class design system elements that ensure cohesive user experiences throughout customer digital journeys.
  • Strategizes and collaborates with experience design, product design, and engineering teams to identify requirements of digital experiences and design system elements.
  • Utilizes existing user research and A/B testing capabilities to present and validate design solutions. Composes and contributes to design system documentation, guidelines and governance.
  • Articulates user experience design issues effectively. Presents and builds consensus around design thinking and rationale with peers and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Graphic Design
  • 6+ years of experience in UX Design or Information Architecture or related
  • In lieu of education, 8+ years of experience in UX Design or Information Architecture or related

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Figma and other similar tools

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
