About the Role

You are a brand ambassador for Diageo and the personification of our brands. You are well connected and networked within the local bartending & gastronomy scene as well as spirits industry in general and you have a consistent record of building brands in this trend leading space. You have the ability to establish and keep great relations with key influencers in the industry and beyond and know where to go to. You are the first point of contact when it comes to learn more about upcoming trends or in-depth knowledge about spirits and the industry. You engage with bartenders to ensure they are serving our drink in the right way and know to tell the story behind our brands. Your job isn't done until our products are transparent to consumers and perfectly served in the right places. You engage consumer by driving awareness and brand passion for our products.

The role is based out of Sweden.

Top Accountabilities
  • Work across key areas of customer activation, advocacy, consumer activation and capabilities of brand knowledge
  • Understand consumer types, attitudes and trends
  • Identify emerging trends and communicate that knowledge to key contacts internally
  • Develop profitable programs while partnering with our distributors in the on-trade
  • Use customer insights while implementing activation plans
  • Use sufficient metrics in order to identify key areas of focus, assess alternatives and accurate when needed


About you
  • 3+ years proven experience, in top accounts as bar manager, owner, bartender or manager
  • Strong communication skill, in- and externally, verbal and written
  • Outstanding project management, creativity and innovative thinking linked to specific business opportunities
  • Good understanding of industry trends, social influences, business drivers
  • Understanding of mixology, a passion for spirits, ability to deliver strong execution and engage with customers/consumers and other relevant partners
  • Fluent in English & Swedish, additional Scandinavian language is a plus
  • Open to regular travel (most notably within the Nordics)
