We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, FX Trading to join our Global Markets Team. This role is located in Seoul (Hybrid).

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Provides assistance to the trading desk with client order execution.
  • Liaises with support full allocation, settles issues on the life cycle of the trade.
  • Facilitates orders for internal departments.
  • May execute smaller or less complex trades and determine appropriate prices for transactions.
  • Assists in the trading and management of a book of business.
  • Functions independently with delegated responsibilities from more senior traders
  • Executes all correspondence requisites with a good understanding of the underlying business and specific client needs.
  • Tracks trades and correct trade problems.
  • Ensure all items are cleared up on a routine basis.
  • Conducts problem analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provides product knowledge and technical assistance as necessary, and works with third party vendors to conduct research that compares BNYM to peers to provide data on pricing and trading strategies.
  • Maintain regulatory KYC requirements related to trading counterparties.
  • Handles client inquiries and runs reports as necessary
  • No direct reports
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in trading or brokerage preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
