Corps members from TFA’s 46 regional offices all get the chance to meet up each year at a nationwide “Step Back.” As the name implies, it’s a chance for everyone to step back from the regular pace of life, exchange ideas, and discuss teaching with people from different areas of the country. It’s also a great time for team spirit, often including cultural activities and outings from baseball to karaoke.

From administration to finance to marketing, it takes a whole range of skills for an organization like TFA to deliver excellent education. And many, but not all, of the employees at TFA are former teachers. TFA's National Office brings all these people together, with the mission of supporting teachers in the classroom across the country. And it honors this large, diverse staff by having everyone in the National Office sign the wall—a reminder to everyone there of all the great minds who are working together to deliver outstanding education.
