Office Life
Acing Health and Wellness
Keeping employees healthy and happy is a priority at AOL—and they found the perfect guy to do it. Ace, AOL’s health mascot, promotes wellness programs throughout the company with fun events and incentives. Employees are given pedometers to track their daily steps for cash prizes, and on-site perks such as nap rooms, massages, and seasonal flu shots keep every employee as healthy as Ace.
Office Culture
Culture Matters
At AOL, having a great team culture is more just an aspiration. With the goal of building a company of smart and spunky co-workers, the AOL interview process includes a “culture interview,” so the team knows they’re hiring the right people. Prospective candidates meet with a panel of team members from across the company, where they get to show off that they have the open, creative, and dedicated vibe that makes AOL employees unique.
“AOL makes you comfortable. They make you feel like the company cares about you as an employee.”
